A man was shot in the West Englewood neighborhood on the South Side Monday evening.

The 19-year-old was sitting in front of a home in the 2100 block of West 68th Place about 5:40 p.m. when someone in a passing silver sedan shot him in the right leg, police said.

He took himself to Holy Cross Hospital, police said.
