The same suspect has robbed a store in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side twice at gunpoint, according to police.

The suspect robbed the store in the 600 block of East 79th Street at 9:58 a.m. Sept. 3, and again at 5:25 p.m. Sept. 10, according to a business alert from Area South detectives.

In one of the robberies he had a shotgun and in the other a handgun, police said. Both times, he demanded money.

The suspect is described as a black man between 20-25; 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10 and 160-200 pounds with medium complexion, police said. He was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt and baseball cap.
