Two men were shot in the Washington Park neighborhood Tuesday afternoon on the South Side.

About 3:45 p.m., they were walking in the 5700 block of South Prairie when they heard gunshots and felt pain, according to Chicago Police.

One man, 44, was shot in the right arm and was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital. The other man, 18, was shot in the right leg and was driven by an acquaintance to the University of Chicago Medical Center.

Their conditions were stabilized, police said.
