Three men were shot Wednesday night in the South Side Chatham neighborhood.

About 10:10 p.m., they were standing on a street corner in the 400 block of East 79th when someone riding in a passing black vehicle fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

One man, 30, was shot multiple times and taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition, police said. The second man, 32, was shot in the right leg and taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in good condition.

The third man, 34, was shot in the back and right leg and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized.
