A home, garage and vehicle were reported entered or burglarized Wednesday in west suburban St. Charles.

At 11:24 a.m., officers responded to an alarm in the 1500 block of Keim Court, police said. A garage service door was found forced open. The burglar did not make it into the home.

Between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., someone entered a home by prying open the front door in the 3700 block of Chesapeake Road, St. Charles police said. Jewelry was reported missing.

While investigating the residential burglary, officers were told by a nearby resident that their vehicle was entered overnight, police said. The vehicle was unlocked and nothing was taken. The owner found the door open along with the center console.
