A man was critically wounded in a shooting in the East Garfield Park neighborhood Monday night.

The 30-year-old was shot in the leg in the 3300 block of West Gladys about 8:40 p.m., according to police.

He took himself to Stroger Hospital, where he was listed in critical condition, police said.
