Pre-debate, Trump over Clinton in Illinois Google searches.

When it comes to Google searches in Illinois, Donald Trump led Hillary Clinton in the hours before their first debate at Hofstra University in New York.

In Illinois according to Google, Trump accounted for 48 percent of searches to Hillary Clinton at 41 percent; Gary Johnson at 9 percent and Jill Stein at 3 percent.

The most Google searched topics in Illinois are: Immigration, ISIS, abortion, gun control and economy.
