A man robbed a bank in Oakbrook Terrace Friday afternoon for his third successful heist in the western suburbs in two weeks, according to the FBI.

About 12:20 p.m., he made off with an unspecified amount of cash from the West Suburban Bank branch at 17W754 22nd St., authorities said.

The same man is also suspected of robbing a Citibank branch in Lombard on Aug. 19 and a BMO Harris Bank branch in Addison on Aug. 23. He hasn’t shown a weapon, and no one has been hurt in the hold-ups, authorities said.

He is described as a black man in his late 20s or early 30s, about 5-foot-4 with a medium build. He was wearing a black, flat-bill Chicago Bulls hat in Friday’s robbery.

Anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700.
