SHARE Police warn of Little Village, North Lawndale burglaries

Police are cautioning residents of the North Lawndale and Little Village neighborhoods after three home burglaries were reported in the neighborhoods in the last week.

According to an alert from Area Central detectives, the burglaries occurred:

-in the 2200 block of South Ridgeway in the afternoon hours of Sept. 2;

-in the 4100 block of West 24th Place in the daytime hours of Sept. 3;

-in the 4000 block of West Ogden in the daytime hours of Sept. 6.

In each case, at least one person forced their way into a home and took property, police said.

Anyone with information on the burglaries is asked to call police at (312) 747-8382.
