A 16-year-old boy was shot Tuesday afternoon in the Humboldt Park neighborhood on the West Side.

The teenager was standing outside about 4:45 p.m. in the 2600 block of West Crystal when someone walked up, spoke with the teen, then fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The teen was shot in the foot and taken in good condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.
