A man was wounded in a Brighton Park neighborhood drive-by shooting Thursday afternoon on the Southwest Side.

The 43-year-old was standing on the sidewalk about 4:10 p.m. in the 3000 block of West 38th Place when a vehicle approached and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the right calf and was taken in good condition to Saint Anthony Hospital, police said.
