Man shot in Lawndale

A man was shot Tuesday night in the Lawndale neighborhood on the Southwest Side.

The 22-year-old was walking about 10:30 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Drake when he heard gunfire and realized he’d been shot in the right leg, according to Chicago Police.

He showed up at Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
