Dearborn Street Bridge to close Monday for ‘Chicago Fire’ filming

The Dearborn Street Bridge over the Chicago River will close Monday for filming of the TV show “Chicago Fire” in the Loop.

The show will film on Dearborn Street from 5 a.m. to 4 p.m. between Wacker Drive and Kinzie Street, the Chicago Department of Transportation announced Friday.

Drivers are encouraged to use State Street as an alternate route.

Chicago Fire Department crews douse rekindled flames at the historic Swift mansion in Bronzeville on Sunday afternoon. The fire is being investigated as an arson. The building dates to 1892 and was recently home to the Inner City Youth and Adult Foundation.
