A TCF Bank branch was robbed Monday afternoon in west suburban Franklin Park.

The non-takover robbery was reported about 1:30 p.m. at the bank at 10203 Grand Ave. in Franklin Park, according to the FBI.

The bank robber was described as a black man between 25 and 35 years old, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 with a medium build, according to the FBI. He was wearing a white-and-black striped scarf over his face and a black hooded sweatshirt.
