A 69-year-old man reported missing Wednesday evening from Chicago’s West Side was seen in northwest suburban Crystal Lake.

Lawrence Johnson, 69, was reported missing from the area of Madison Street and Lorel Avenue in the Austin neighborhood, according to an endangered missing person alert from Chicago Police.

He is described as a 115-pound, 5-foot-9 black man with brown eyes, gray hair and a dark complexion, police said. Johnson, who was driving a gold 2011 Chevrolet Equinox, has some memory loss and may need medical attention.

On Friday night, Crystal Lake police said Johnson was spotted about 2:40 a.m. Thursday at a Walmart store at 1205 S. Route 31. He was seen on video surveillance wearing one-piece blue coveralls with a Walmart patch on the front chest. He was without a jacket or hat.
