SHARE 31-year-old man shot Friday afternoon in Pilsen

A 31-year-old man was shot Friday afternoon in the Pilsen neighborhood on the Lower West Side.

The shooting happened at 4:08 p.m. in the 1800 block of South Racine, according to Chicago Police. The man was shot in the chest and leg, and was taken Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.

Police did not immediately provide further details.
