Undefeated Geneva passed the look test today. Maybe not during warmups, but definitely by the end of the game. Cole and Dom Navigato can both score and rebound, guard Matt Johnston is crafty, athletic and very underrated and the Vikings have a number of promising underclassmen.

The Vikings will be a very real contender to win the Hinsdale Central sectional in March.

Larkin just couldn’t quite get things going at any point. Jalen Shaw had foul trouble and that sort of doomed things right from the start. Read all about undefeated Geneva’s 23rd win.

I’ll be at Evanston tomorrow for the War on the Shore.
