Man, 24, shot in South Shore

A 24-year-old man was shot Saturday afternoon in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side.

He was driving at 2:41 p.m. in the 2800 block of East 76th Street when someone in another vehicle pulled up and fired several shots, according to Chicago Police. The man then crashed his vehicle into a parked car.

He suffered a gunshot wound to the back and was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
