A 23-year-old man is in critical condition after being shot Tuesday evening in the Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.

Officers found him outside about5:30 p.m. in the 6700 block of South Perry, with gunshot wounds to the hip and abdomen, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken in critical but “stable” condition to Stroger Hospital, police said.

No one was in custody for the attack.
