Man shot in Back of the Yards

A man was shot Sunday night in the Back of the Yards neighborhood on the South Side.

At 9:39 p.m., the 21-year-old man was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 5400 block of South Laflin when someone got out of a white SUV and fired shots striking him in the back of the head, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital where his condition was stabilized, police said.
