Illinois State Police are investigating a report of shots fired Sunday morning on the Dan Ryan Expressway on the South Side.

Police received multiple calls of shots fired on the Dan Ryan between 83rd and 95th streets about 11:50 a.m., according to state police.

Investigators are searching for shell casings, police said. No victims or property damage have been found.
