A man was shot Monday morning in the South Side Bronzeville neighborhood.

About 11:15 a.m., the 24-year-old was getting into his car in the 4500 block of South Vincennes when someone in a passing van opened fire, hitting him in the left leg, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Stroger Hospital, where his condition was stabilized, police said.

Four males were taken into custody after the shooting, which occurred about 10:50 p.m. Saturday.
