A woman and her child who were reported missing Saturday from the Sauganash neighborhood on the Northwest Side have been found safe.

Carolyn Vail, 25, and her daughter Alyssia Vail went missing from the 6200 block of North Karlov, according to an alert from Chicago Police.

Police said Sunday that Vail and her daughter had been found “safe and sound.”
