A man was wounded in a shooting Friday evening in the Park Manor neighborhood on the South Side.

The 28-year-old was outside about 5:15 p.m. in the first block of East 70th Street when someone fired at him from a passing dark-colored vehicle, Chicago Police said.

He was struck in his back and taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said.
