A man was shot and critically wounded Friday afternoon in the Rosemoor neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 34-year-old was approached by two males at 2:43 p.m. in the 9700 block of South Calumet, according to Chicago Police. One of the males pulled out a gun and shot him in his chest.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in critical condition, police said.
