SHARE Suspect in Zion bank robbery taken into custody

One person is in custody after a bank was robbed Wednesday afternoon in north suburban Zion.

The non-takeover robbery happened about noon at the First Midwest Bank branch at 3303 Sheridan Road, according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.

The suspect was taken into custody, he said.

Additional details weren’t immediately available.
