Taurus (April 20-May 20)

Do not be too forceful at work today about getting your own way, because you will encounter barriers and obstacles to your way of thinking. These obstacles could be travel-related or something to do with another culture, a different country or even another belief system. Touchy subjects!

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Be patient when dealing with kids today because things could get out of hand. This is the kind of day where people are stuck in their point of view. They refuse to see a better way of doing things (especially if it is about creative differences or vacations). Oy vey.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This is a poor day for family discussions because people will be at loggerheads. Everyone is stuck in their own point of view. Furthermore, they want to convince others to agree with them because they “know better.” Cooperation is not easy!

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

Do not come on like gangbusters today trying to convince others to agree with you because it won’t work. You might be fixated on your ideas, but others will disagree. Or someone might try to make you agree with them? Either way — lighten up.

Be careful when shopping today because you will not be open to suggestions. Your mind is made up. Quarrels about possessions and financial matters might arise. Ideally, postpone these activities for another day. Take it easy.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Today the Sun and Mercury in your sign are at odds with big daddy Pluto, which pits people against each other. You might see a better way to do something but no one will listen to you. (Love it.) Admittedly, you might also be obsessed about something. Cool your jets.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

You have a strong mental focus today, which can help you if you have to do research — that’s for sure. However, in discussion with others, you might be viewed as inflexible. (Moi?) Keep this in mind. Mind you, others are inflexible today as well! (Lord give me strength.)

This is not an easy day to deal with parents, bosses and VIPs. In fact, they might call you up on the carpet for something. Or they might make you accountable or ask for something like a progress report. (Gulp.) Just go along. Avoid disputes today.

Avoid controversial subjects like politics, religion and race today because things will go south in a New York minute. Don’t get your belly in a rash. This is not the day for potentially upsetting discussions. Definitely. Travel obstacles are also classic. (It was ever thus.)

Disputes about inheritances, shared property, taxes, debt, insurance or how to spend a certain amount of money will easily arise today. People are opinionated! Everyone thinks they know best. This is a minefield waiting to explode. Tiptoe around it.
