A person was shot in the leg Thursday morning in the South Side Greater Grand Crossing neighborhood.

The male, whose age wasn’t immediately available, was shot in the leg at 9:33 a.m. in the 6800 block of South Perry, according to Chicago Police.

He took himself to St. Bernard Hospital, police said. His condition and the circumstances of the shooting weren’t immediately available.
