Another Public League powerhouse is staying home for the holidays. Orr coach Lou Adams has confirmed that the Spartans will play in the Proviso West Holiday Tournament this month.

Morgan Park left the tournament to join the Big Dipper, but the field is still loaded. Kenwood has also joined the field in Hillside.

Last year’s tournament featured Bogan, Lincoln-Way West, Young, Fenwick, Providence-St. Mel, New Trier, Downers Grove North, Morton, Proviso East, Hillcrest, Von Steuben, St. Joseph, Larkin, Proviso West and Uplift.

This year’s full field has not been announced yet.
