A man was seriously wounded in a Thursday night shooting in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side.

The 23-year-old was found lying the street by officers responding to a call of shots fired about 6:10 p.m. in the 6500 block of South Green, Chicago Police said.

He suffered multiple gunshot wounds and taken to Stroger Hospital in serious condition, police said.
