2 men shot in South Deering

Two men were wounded early Sunday in a South Deering neighborhood shooting on the Far South Side.

The men were in a parked vehicle at 12:33 a.m. when shots were fired in an alley in the 10200 block of South Commercial, according to Chicago Police.

One man, 22, was shot in the abdomen and taken to Trinity Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.

The other man, 29, was also treated at Trinity for a gunshot wounded to the left knee, police said. His condition also stabilized.
