A teenager was shot in the face Wednesday afternoon in the South Side Bridgeport neighborhood.

The 17-year-old boy was struck in the face about 3:10 p.m. in the 3100 block of South Lituanica, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
