Man stabbed in Kennedy park

A 41-year-old man was stabbed Monday evening in the Kennedy Park neighborhood on the Far Southwest Side.

He was walking down the street about 5:50 p.m. in the 11100 block of South Washtenaw when an unknown person stabbed him, according to Chicago Police.

The man suffered a puncture wound to the abdomen and was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition, police said.
