A bank was robbed Thursday afternoon in the Roscoe Village neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The non-takeover robbery happened at 2:41 p.m. at the Byline Bank branch at 3401 N. Western Ave., according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.

The robber is described as a white man, thought to be in his 50s or 60s, with a thin build, Croon said.

Anyone with information should call the FBI at (312) 421-6700. A reward of up to $1,000 is being offered for information leading to the suspect’s arrest.
