A man was found shot Saturday night in the Austin neighborhood on the West Side.

The 33-year-old was discovered with a gunshot wound to the face about 9 p.m. in the basement of a home in the 1400 block of North Lotus, Chicago Police said.

He was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood in critical condition, police said.
