Man, 19, shot in Albany Park

A man was wounded in a shooting Tuesday night in the Albany Park neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

The 19-year-old was approached by another male about 7:30 p.m. who grabbed him in the 4200 block of North Albany, Chicago Police said.

The 19-year-old was able to get away and ran off, at which time the male who approached him fired a shot, police said. The teen was struck in the leg and taken to Swedish Covenant Hospital, where his condition was stabilized.
