A PNC Bank branch was robbed late Friday afternoon on the Near West Side.

The non-takeover robbery happened at 4:33 p.m. at the bank at 2154 W. Madison, according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon.

The suspect was a 5-foot-4 black female, of unknown age, wearing a brown coat and a black and white hat, Croon said.

More details weren’t immediately available.
