A teenager who has been missing from the Heart of Chicago neighborhood on the South Side for at least a month and a half has been found safely.

Mya Jones, 16, was last seen Oct. 28 in the 2000 block of West 17th Street, according to Chicago Police.

Police said Friday afternoon that Jones had been located and was safe. Further details were not provided.
