Man, 45, shot in South Shore

A 45-year-old man was shot Friday night in the South Shore neighborhood.

He was shot in the left leg at 8:21 p.m. in the 6900 block of South Cornell, according to Chicago Police. Details on the circumstances of the shooting were unknown.

The man was taken to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where his condition stabilized, police said.
