Boy, 16, shot in South Shore

A 16-year-old boy was shot Sunday night in the South Shore neighborhood.

He was walking in an alley about 9:35 p.m. in the 7700 block of South Cregier when a vehicle pulled up to him and someone inside fired shots, Chicago Police said.

The boy was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn with a gunshot wound to his left arm, police said. His condition had stabilized.
