A man was shot Saturday night in the Jeffery Manor neighborhood on the Far South Side.

The 28-year-old was shot in his chest at 8:54 p.m. in the 9800 block of South Oglesby, according to Chicago Police. He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized.
