A man was wounded in a drive-by shooting Wednesday afternoon in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The 21-year-old was walking down the street at 1:17 p.m. in the 5900 block of West North Avenue when a brown Impala pulled up and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

He was shot in his lower right leg and taken in good condition to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, police said.
