A man was shot on Saturday while attending a funeral at a cemetery in west suburban Hillside.

First responders were called about 2:50 p.m. for a report of a person shot at Oakridge-Glen Oak Cemetery, 4301 W. Roosevelt Road, authorities said.

A 36-year-old man was found with a gunshot wound and was taken to Loyola University Medical Center in Maywood, according to the Hillside Fire Department the Cook County sheriff’s office. His condition was unknown Saturday night.

The man was at the cemetery to attend a funeral when he was shot, Sophia Ansari, a spokeswoman for the sheriff’s office said. No one was in custody.
