A man was shot Friday night in the Riverdale neighborhood on the Far South Side.

About 8 p.m., the 22-year-old was walking in the 13000 block of South Langley Avenue when someone approached him and fired shots, according to Chicago Police.

The man was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn in good condition with a gunshot wound to his right leg, police said.
