A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The shooting happened at 1:11 p.m. in the 5000 block of West Gladys, according to Chicago Police.

The 36-year-old man was shot multiple times and took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.

The girl was found in the 3200 block of North Rockwell Street between 8:30 and 10:30 p.m., Chicago police said.
