A man was seriously wounded in a shooting Monday afternoon in the West Side Austin neighborhood.

The shooting happened at 1:11 p.m. in the 5000 block of West Gladys, according to Chicago Police.

The 36-year-old man was shot multiple times and took himself to West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, where he was listed in serious condition, police said.
