Man shot in South Chicago

A man was shot Monday morning in the South Chicago neighborhood on the South Side.

The 27-year-old was shot in the hand at 5:57 a.m. in the 8800 block of South Burley, according to Chicago Police.

He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where his condition was stabilized, police said. Additional information was not provided.
