Three 17-year-old boys were shot Thursday afternoon in south suburban Ford Heights.

At 4:52 p.m., someone fired shots at a group of people during a fight at Diplomat Lane and Woodland Avenue and the three teenagers were struck, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office.

All three were taken to hospitals for treatment, the sheriff’s office said. One boy was in serious condition. The others suffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
