3 teens shot in Ford Heights

Three 17-year-old boyswere shot Thursday afternoon in south suburban Ford Heights.

At 4:52 p.m.,someone fired shotsat a group of people during a fightat Diplomat Lane and Woodland Avenue and the three teenagers were struck, according to the Cook County sheriff’s office.

All three were taken to hospitals for treatment, the sheriff’s office said. One boywas in serious condition. The otherssuffered injuries that weren’t life-threatening.
