A large fight broke out at a carnival Saturday night in Morgan Park on the Far South Side, but no injuries were reported, and the carnival was shut down, police said.

Officers responded to a disturbance at the carnival in the 11700 block of South Marshfield around 7 p.m.

Murder charges have been filed against suspect Christian I. Soto, 22. Investigators haven’t determined a motive for the attacks, but they say Soto had been smoking marijuana before the rampage.
