A suspect is in custody after a bank was robbed Wednesday morning in the Loop.

The non-takeover robbery happened at the U.S. Bank branch at 25 E. Washington at 9:20 a.m., according to FBI spokesman Garrett Croon. No weapon was shown.

The suspect was described as a black man in his late 50s to early 60s, about 6-foot with a medium build, Croon said. He was wearing green pants and a black Miami Heat coat.

The suspect is in custody, Croon said.
