Moon Alert

Avoid shopping or big decisions from 9:30 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Chicago time. After that, the Moon moves from Gemini into Cancer.

Aries (March 21-April 19)

This is a “middling” day. It’s not great, but it’s not too bad. You might have difficulties with an authority figure or someone older. Likewise, something to do with the church, politics or race might be stifling or negative. Fortunately, by late in the day, things improve.

Taurus (April 20-May 20)

This is a poor day for financial discussions. Likewise, it’s not a good day to discuss shared property, shared responsibilities, wills or inheritances. Basically, people are more inclined to disagree and criticize each other. Who needs this? Not you.

Gemini (May 21-June 20)

Today the Moon is in your sign for most of the day, opposing Saturn and at odds with Venus, which does not promote an easygoing relations with others. Quite the opposite. You might feel cut off, a bit lonely or ill at ease. By evening, you’ll feel fine.

Cancer (June 21-July 22)

This is a bit of a tough day for those of you who work because relations with co-workers might be strained. Actually this can apply to any of you regarding any kind of work you choose to do today. Even issues that are pet-related could be challenging. Woof!

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22)

This is a dicey day, which will generate problems for social situations, playful activities with children, sports events and fun times. You can still enjoy yourself, but there will be obstacles to overcome. These obstacles will diminish by evening. Whew!

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22)

Relations with older family members might be stressed today. Ditto for relations with partners and close friends. Fortunately, it’s minor stuff. Nothing you can’t handle. By evening, the dust will settle and all will be fine. There will be peace in the land and your crops will prosper.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22)

Avoid controversial subjects today because these discussions will be a bummer. They will quickly disintegrate into arguments or criticisms. Since you need more sleep at this time, if you can squeeze in a nap today, do it. (Naps are wonderful.)

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21)

Because you feel financially squeezed today, this is not a good day for financial discussions or discussions about how to divide or share something. You will be at a disadvantage. Therefore, postpone this for another day. Plus, a good part of this day is a Moon Alert.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21)

If you want to get along with others today, don’t make a big deal about anything. The Moon is opposite your sign for a good part of this day, which means you have to accommodate others. Just go along to get along. No biggie.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19)

Someone might be critical of you at work today or might criticize what you do no matter where you are. In addition, something that is pet-related might create increased responsibilities for you. Whatever the case, just go with the flow because the obstacles that are present today will soften by evening.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18)

Don’t let someone older or more experienced than you rain on your parade. It’s easy for people to feel critical of each other today, and although criticism does much in getting results, let’s face it — praise does more. Don’t take anything personally. It’s not you.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20)

A family member might be on your case today, especially someone older or in a position of authority. This is why family discussions will be strained today. However, later in the day, especially by this evening, things become much more mellow. Thank goodness.
